1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, phone number, profile photo, vehicle and license details for drivers), payment and payout method details, and ride history (pickup/drop locations, routes, timestamps, fares).

2. Location Data

Tezzo uses your device location to show nearby rides, calculate routes, and enable live ride tracking during an active trip. Location is shared with the other party of an active ride for safety and coordination, and is not collected when the app is not in use.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to match drivers and passengers, process payments and payouts, send ride notifications, provide customer support, and improve app safety and reliability.

4. Information Sharing

Driver and passenger names, photos, ratings, and contact details relevant to a booked ride are shared with each other so the ride can be coordinated. Payment and payout details are shared only with our payment processing partners and are never sold to third parties.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption, both in transit and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to systems and personnel that need it to operate the service.

6. Notifications

With your permission, Tezzo sends push notifications for ride updates, booking confirmations, and messages from drivers/passengers. You can manage notification preferences from Profile → Communication preferences.

7. Your Rights

You can view and edit your profile information at any time from the app. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data from Profile → Delete account, subject to retention required by law (e.g. for completed payment records).

8. Data Retention

We retain ride and payment records for as long as required for legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes, even after an account is deleted.

9. Children’s Privacy

Tezzo is not intended for users under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated through the app.
